Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: not stated
This policy explains how Zargham Labs LLC handles "consumer health data" under Washington's My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373).
1. Categories of consumer health data we collect, and why
- Stored only on your device (not collected by us): medicines, schedules, dose history, refill quantities, notes, photos, profiles and optional health measurements you enter. This data stays on your phone unless you turn on Family mode.
- If you turn on Dawakara Family: we collect the same categories in end-to-end encrypted form, together with the fact that you use a medication reminder service and missed-dose or low-refill alert events. Purpose: to provide the Family features you request (linking phones, caregiver alerts, sync and encrypted backup). We don't use consumer health data for any other purpose.
- Optional anonymous statistics (only if you opt in): broad reminder-response ranges (for example "80–90% of reminders answered"), not linked to your identity. Purpose: to improve reminder reliability.
2. Sources
Directly from you and from the devices in your family group.
3. Categories of consumer health data we share
Encrypted Family data (which these service providers can't read) is shared only with service providers that process it for us: our hosting provider and the push notification service that delivers alerts. We don't share consumer health data with anyone else, and we never sell it.
4. Categories of third parties and affiliates with whom we share
Cloud hosting provider; push notification delivery service. We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.
5. Your rights and how to use them
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties and affiliates it was shared with;
- withdraw consent;
- have it deleted.
How to use them:
- In the App: Settings → Privacy → Delete my cloud data or Turn off Family mode.
- On the web: dawakara.com/delete.
- By email: [email protected].
We'll respond within 45 days, as the law requires. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond to the appeal within 45 days and, if it is denied, tell you how to contact the Washington Attorney General.
